Recognition for a supportive approach
It is wonderful to receive recognition for a service that means so much to me and to the people I support.
Decluttering is rarely just about making a room look tidier. Our belongings can be connected to memories, relationships, bereavement, changes in health and many different stages of life. Deciding what to keep, what to let go of and how to make a home easier to manage can sometimes feel overwhelming.
My aim is always to provide calm, practical and non-judgemental support. We work together at a pace that feels manageable, while creating systems and spaces that are realistic for the client’s current life.
Creating lasting, positive changes
The Transformational Impact Award is particularly meaningful because even relatively small changes within the home can have a wider effect on everyday life.
A more manageable space can help someone move around their home more safely, find important belongings more easily, reduce unnecessary purchases or begin using a room that had gradually become overwhelmed by clutter.
Every person and every home is different. Success may mean clearing an entire room, organising one cupboard or simply taking the first step towards addressing an area that has been avoided for a long time.
