Having done such a great job with my kitchen, it was inevitable that I would ask Charmain to work her magic on the other two main rooms in my house, namely the living room and the craft room. Charmain suggested not to do the craft room first, but to tackle the living room in which I did most of my crafting. The rationale for this was basically to spread the tidy nature of the kitchen into the neighbouring living room so that my living space was more appealing, rather than sorting out the Craft Room upstairs. All of the craft materials I had been amassing down in the living room were returned upstairs, and Charmain worked her magic on the living room. As with the kitchen, the end result was a living room that felt so comfortable to sit and relax in, with usable shelves, clear surfaces and plenty of space to entertain others. It was nice having my sister round and not having to move piles of stuff from the chairs that I don’t normally use myself. Because so much stuff was selected for a trip to the charity shop, and because of the way the items that remained were organised, my living room has been easy to keep tidy and I am now far more discerning when it comes to buying anything new. You don’t just get a wonderful room to finally enjoy, you also learn good habits for the future! Right – now to book Charmain’s services again for the craft room…
